CHE No Major Crome
2021 AQHA Sorrel Stallion 15hh
Prescribed By Major  x Revolving Maiden
6 Panel N/N

We have welcomed back CHE No Major Crome aka "Doug", that was bred and raised here as our new Junior Stallion.
Doug was injured as a weanling which halted any potential performance career . *
 He has the genetics to cross well on any modern or old style breeding for reining or cow-horse.  Being cute never hurt either ;)

All CHE No Major Crome offspring are eligible for the Xibition!

Doug will be live cover only at this time with a  low introductory rate!
He is also available for purchase
DOUG HAS BEEN SOLD AND NOW RESIDES IN MICHIGAN, USA.
THANK YOU TO ALL WHO CAME TO BREED TO HIM IN 2025!

 Prescribed By Major was a past Canadian Supreme Champion, Multiple NRHA Open Champion, AQHA ROM in Reining holder, and sired trainable horses that went on in a wide variety of arenas.  (Check out his page) Major Bonanza was a sire of 15 world champions in cutting, reining, working cow horse, heading, heeling, trail and western riding.  Docs Prescription was also a world champion sire.
Einstein's Revolution is an NRHA $2million sire and counting.  Boomernic is in the NRHA hall of fame and a $2million sire.  Custom Crome was another NRHA hall of fame stallion and $4million sire.

* Doug's injury.
As horses do they surprise you in ways to try and hurt themselves.   I was admiring him and even took pictures of him standing all cute then 5 mins later he was wrapped up in the electric fence that he was turned out in every single day!
It was bad and ugly.  Not much holding it together.  Mainly, he severed his extensor tendon.  No joint injury.  However, nothing could really be done, nothing to stitch together.    So the long process of keeping it clean and heal on its own began.
It did heal quite well considering.  He will always have a hitch in his giddy-up.  He is in no pain. Can run and play with the best of them, and breed mares.  When cold the tendon contracts and gives the appearance of stringhalt.  Again, no pain, just looks awful.
